Today was a benchmark WOD, Barbara, and it was a beast. I scaled it (see below), but it still totally kicked my butt. After I finished, Will (my team’s coach, who happened to also be doing the WOD that day) told me that this is the WOD where you are most likely to throw up. I felt like I could have a few times during the workout.
In other news, we had a Paleo dessert at work today! Pineapple with toasted coconut. I was so excited that I took a separate picture just of the dessert.
Much to my delight, we started dogfooding my plugin on our internal FogBugz today. I’m saving the details until it’s publicly available, but I think many people are going to like it!

Fitness
“Barbara”
5 rounds for time (rx):
20 pull ups
30 sit ups
40 pull ups
50 air squats.
Rest 3 minutes between rounds. Score is time for each round, then total time.
I scaled it to “Barbara Lite,” which is 10 less reps each, and used a blue band on the pull ups.
Total time: 39:10
Work Time: 27:10
Slowest round: 6:09 (4th round)
Fastest: 4:10 (first round)
It was a brutal WOD. What I’m most proud of is the fact that I pushed myself to make my fifth round time better than my fourth round. I believe I beat it by 19 seconds!
At work, I stood at my desk for nearly 5 hours.
Sleep
7.75 hours
