Paleo Challenge 3.1

Today’s lunch at Fog Creek was incredible: Chicken Tikka Masala with spinach salad.  Yummm!

I finished my plugin today, which was great! Thanks to the rest of the support team at Fog Creek for covering so I could have a Dev Day.

Food

Breakfast

  • Deli turkey meat
  • almonds
  • green beans
  • strawberries

Lunch

  • Spinach Salad with bell peppers, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, with Roasted garlic & rosemary dressing

    • Grilled tilapia
    • Broccoli
    • Cauliflower
    • Mixed green salad

    Fitness

    Today’s WOD was interesting 12 minute AMRAP of 5 LH DB dead lifts, 5 RH DB dead lifts, + 10 dips. The one-handed deadlifts required you to balance on one foot to bend over to touch the ground with the dumbbell. The movement was a little awkward. I used a 50 lb dumbell and the blue band this time on dips. The blue band was just hard enough to know that I was doing work, which was good.

    Sleep

    7.5 hours – I got to bed a little later than I would have liked.

    Family & Faith

    I picked up the Office of Readings again on my AM commute. Emily and I continued our pre-dinner prayer of thanksgiving.
